RIMA Industrial S.A. (RIMA) is an experienced and well established Brazilian producer of primary metals, (metal-)alloys and automotive parts. Around 3,300 employees at four production sites in the federal state Gerais and at the company headquarters in Bocaiuva make RIMA one of the region’s largest employers. Among the company's main customers are businesses in the automotive industry, steel industry, chemical industry and photovoltaic industry.
The credit line provided by OeEB, DEG and Proparco is dedicated to financing modernization and expansion investments, including the purchase of a new melting furnace and two new dedusting units. This will not only help increase RIMA's capacity and product quality but also help improve water and energy efficiency at its production sites.
