By supporting these financial institutions serving low income and emerging middle-class communities, ShoreCap promotes financial inclusion and contributes to the region's economic development as well as to securing and creating jobs.
In addition to capital, ShoreCap III provides know-how and management support which creates a valuable transfer of knowledge that supports local finance institutions in their lending activities and contributes to the sustained success of their clients' businesses.
Prior to, and in parallel to OeEB’s investment, OeEB has contributed Business Advisory Services funds for capacity building measures at local financial institutions.
ShoreCap III is a successor fund of Equator Capital Partners’ ShoreCap II, in which OeEB invests as well.
