In September 2014, OeEB invested USD 4 million in Dolma Impact Fund I, Nepal's first private equity fund. Other investors include development finance institutions from the Netherlands (FMO) and Finland (Finnfund) as well as private individuals. In order to further support the fund's investment activities, OeEB invested another USD 1.5 million in 2018.

Dolma provides capital and expertise to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Nepal in order to enhance the country's economic development and to boost job creation. Focus sectors include renewable energy, microfinance, healthcare, education, eco-tourism and the optimisation of agricultural supply chains and storage facilities.
After the earthquake in 2015, there is strong need for reconstruction and investments in resource efficient technologies. With Business Advisory Services funds, OeEB supports Dolma Impact Fund in building up technical know-how by hiring a technical expert with experience in environmental and social assessments.
