With the OeEB financing, the company wants to establish a production facility for plywood panels to enable the local production of high-quality and affordable furniture. ADISA strives to set up and control the entire value chain in a sustainable and transparent manner. In the area of reforestation, the company relies on sustainable forestry methods and plans to have its own forests FSC-certified. All of the managed land is also to be converted into a biosphere reserve.
Through the loan, OeEB contributes to its strategic focus on “Financial Inclusion/MMEs” and makes a contribution to the real sector and to OeEB's Africa goal.
