OeEB and AS Group signed a long-term loan of EUR 10 million. The funds will enable AS Group to expand its production capacities and to invest in energy efficiency measures.
AS Group was founded in 1996 and is active in the production and distribution of food and textiles. With over 3,000 employees, the group is one of the largest private employers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The loan provided by OeEB enables the company to expand its production capacity, build new production lines and invest in modern, energy-efficient facilities.
"We are happy to work with AS Group and to support the business in modernizing and expanding its production lines. Our investment enables the company to grow which will create more than 300 new jobs and contribute to strengthening the local industry and economy", explains Sabine Gaber, member of OeEB’s executive board.
