Together with partners, customers, employees and stakeholders, OeEB celebrated its 10-year anniversary on 7 May 2018.
10 years of growth and development: Founded in 2008, OeEB has contributed to economic development worldwide with nearly 300 projects and has become a successful player within the Austrian development cooperation. But also OeEB itself has grown and developed substantially in its first ten years: From 5 to over 60 employees who handle a financing portfolio of EUR 1.1 billion.
After opening remarks by Austrian Federal Minister of Finance Hartwig Loeger, Thomas Abouleish from SEKEM Egypt gave insight into the cooperation with OeEB. Sabine Gaber and Michael Wancata, members of OeEB's executive board, and Helmut Bernkopf, chairman of OeEB's advisory board, looked back on the development and highlights of OeEB's first decade.
